 Certified Clinical Medical Assistant w/ Home Health Coding & OASIS Specialist  

          Teach students the skills to perform variety of functions that combine office operations and patient procedures in a home health setting.

              Job skills consist of 

•             Coordinate patient scheduling

•             Facilitate office visits

•             Manage patient EHR

•             Home health diagnosis or hospice coding

•             Home health OASIS Reviewer

•             May assist with exams and procedures such as EKG, phlebotomy, and laboratory procedures

 Electronic Health Record Specialist w/ Certified Risk Adjustment Coding

      Teach students the necessary skills to review and analysis patient EHR and assign HCC codes to patient medical records to capture the                      health status of the providers patient membership for the risk adjustment programs.

              Job skills consist of 

•          Reviewing patient demographic and insurance information

•          Release of Information ( ROI)

•          Capture HCC diagnosis codes for risk adjustment reimbursement

 Certified Medical Administrative Assistant w/ Certified Professional/Outpatient Coding 

    Teach students the necessary skills to perform medical administrative duties and to review and analysis the patient record to assign                                          alphanumeric outpatient codes for billing of patient services.

              Job skills consist of 

• Scheduling appointments

• Answering calls

• Updating patients electronic medical records

• Coordination operation reports such as time and attendance

• Operating office software and equipment

• Assign alphanumeric outpatient codes to patient records using book or encoder for patient billing
